How does FARx stay GDPR compliant and keep user data safe?
After all, there’s a lot of communication between applications and
databases, and biometric templates and real-time audio-visual
characteristics are used to verify users.
But it’s important to remember that FARx biometric templates are not
image or voice recordings! They are encrypted datasets that can only
be decrypted and interpreted by FARx.
There are several ways our system complies with GDPR.
Here’s an insight into the authentication process, which involves 3 key
steps.
1. Our Proxy Server receives biometric samples and
enrolment/verification requests from the business application.
2. That information is translated and passed to our Biometric Server.
3. This is compared with information stored in the Biometric Database.
Translating that information is key to encrypting and securing the
speaker’s information.
No PII data is retained by FARx and FARx data cannot be viewed or
replayed. Anything that isn’t needed is destroyed.
No logs or audit reports are kept on the FARx side either.
Our technology also complies with GDPR in many other ways. Contact
